Vice President: Electoral Reforms Commission commence to work soon

Second Vice President Mr. Sarwar Danesh met head of European Union envoy in Afghanistan at his office on Saturday 27 June 2015. Mr. Danesh said: the electoral reforms commission will commence its work soon. There is a comprehensive agreement about electoral reforms amongst national unity government leaders and it's known as a vital need. HE also pointed out: unluckily Afghanistan legal and justice institutions are facing with lots of challenges that by hunting of each, appears and creates many other challenges. He added: In previous years, in many cases the legal and financial rights procedures were ignored so that it is now a problem for the government.
Second Vice President said: in addition to justice and judiciary sectors, in other sector including recruitments procedures the legalized and lawful procedures were ignored as well. Therefore, due to the ignorance of aforesaid issue, we are facing practical problems in application and implementation of laws now. If we do not do something, the law will be repeatedly ignored. Further more to ignorance of legal and lawful administrative procedures, lack of provision also caused to breaches of the laws, rules and regulations. He added: due to extensive problems in justice and judiciary sector we try to appoints and present, the head of the Supreme Court and attorney general, as well as members of the Commission for the implementation of the constitution to parliament's vote of confidence in near future.
The Head of European Union Commission thanking vice president for meeting stated: Afghanistan's international partners are interested to see electoral, justice and judiciary reforms, so that reforms in electoral and justice & judiciary systems hunt-down the current problems. He also insisted that European Union support electoral and justice and judiciary sectors reform.
