On May 8, 2016, the law committee session was held under the chairmanship of the second vice president Sarwar Danesh at Gul Khana Palace.
Based on priority of session the legislative action (work) plan for the year 2016 was discussed and approved. Opening the session the vice president said any programs set to launched for reforms in the government needs legislative document, therefore; the legislative documents should be prepared and initialized in first step.
Saying last as year one of the most successful years for legislative document approving and initializing procedure, the vice president added some 90 legislative documents had been approved in the last one and half year.
The law committee reviewed and discussed all legislative documents including laws, regulations, statutes and the modifications and amendments of those listed laws, which have been submitted in legislative institutes of justice ministry.
In the session each and every ministries and independent organs have explained their suggestion about priorities and needs of foregoing issues.
After reviewing the presented justification, based on the priorities for legislative documents it was decided to be prepared and initialized in quarterly bases, in which three quarter of the year out of four quarter were prioritized for preparing on modality of laws amendments, draft regulations and laws.
Conclusion of session the law committees it was said, some 37 legislative documents presented by the justice ministry and 20 more by different organs in its legislative plans and were included in government legislative action plans.
The committee also assigned the ministries and independent organs to submit their legislative documents to the next session by the end of ongoing week.
